Buried in News:Cambridgeshire there was an interesting little news snippet yesterday. I never saw it on the tv version of its news. Or hear it on any of their radio channels. Or maybe I missed it.
Actually it is, or should be, a major
news story because the subject of the story is a Labour MP who has been charged with perverting the course of
justice. Same as what Vicky Price, the former wife of Chris Huhne, ended up being sentenced to eight months at Her Majesty’s pleasure for, though she only served nine weeks.
But this story, it is buried away. Not given prominence. Passed unnoticed if you were relying on the BBC
for all you need to know.
Odd that,
given the prominence the BBC gives to non-news stories and stories about people who haven't been questioned, arrested, never mind charged.
